		<description>I definitely agree with this.  As a mom to 3 kids, I rely on other forms of discipline like timeouts, removal of privileges, toys, etc., and redirection.  For us, this seems to work better.  My children seem to respond better to these forms of discipline.  The few times I have used a spanking they tend to become more aggressive.  I&#039;m not completely against spanking, but I do think research has shown, and in my own experience, that other forms of discipline are more effective.  There is actually an excellent discussion of spanking at www.opposingviews.com/questions/is-spanking-an-acceptable-form-of-discipline.  Experts from both sides debate the issue and make some really good points.  A great read on the topic!</description>
